A New Reunion

[Remus John Lupin]

Number 12 had been empty for sometime since the war, seeing as there was little need for it, and the memories.

but, it hadn't been completely empty, there had been bumps and things moved.

Remus Lupin had been murdered during the Battle of Hogwarts. Ever since he had been in limbo, after losing his new wife, and leaving his son at such a young age.

He had been in spirit at number twelve for fifteen years, alone, apart from the spiders and doxies. He had been able to go to other places that meant something to him while he was living, such as Hogwarts and the forest, where he as been watching the werewolves, but for him, he was lucky to see the living, as they would find he rare to see his ghost..

It was one of thouse off days when Hunter would come back to Grimmauld, for a genuine visit, Pandora and He as well as Isabella and Linden would saty for a short time, just to remember, it was a small break sort of place, yes it held many menories, but none that should be forgotten he opend the door, the charm had been warn of, forgotten about almost, Linden and Isabella followed behind dragging there bits, both of 15 now, they where astonisingly good for teenagers Isabella was first to start up
"wheres mum. i thought she was following?"
then Linden "yeah, is mum alright though, she's been a bit.."
"off, compleletly come on lets go unpack are bits and leave dad to it" said Isabella finally, Hunter didn't reply they where already up the stairs.

He heard the front door open and then close, then heard voices.. one was fairly familiar,but the others were new to him. He frown and looked around wondering if he should leave or stay, but he didn't want to upset anyone or scare them away.

He closed his eyes and stood there, deciding to see them, he didn;t want to go ands never see them again, he just wanted to see someone, if had been so long...

Hunter moved to the kitchen and cleaned the kettle out, filling it up after, he heard the twins upstairs creating a lot of noise luckly the painting of Mrs Black had long since gone.

Meanwhile Isabella was upstairs making her way to the bathroom she stopped suddenly as she saw a haze she frowned, gulped and moved closer out stretchign her hand, she then saw a face, she screamed and run down stairs, yet Liden came out to see what was going on and simply went "cool, a dead guy..sooo cool" he laughed and waved slightly.

Hunter had heard the commotion and looked up jogging to the bottom of the stairs where Isabella was coming down he frowned "what is it?" she gulped near shaking
"ghost..dead..person..upstairs, just..there.." Hunter hugged her briefly and catiously soon made his way upstairs he saw Liden seemingly looking at something facinating, Hunter could see nothing, as clear but just some haze, he came up and put a hand on Linden's shoulder looking at the haze carefully it shimmered..

Remus stepped back as the young girl came in and screamed a the top of her lungs. He then looked as she left and a boy entered, but seemed less afraid of him. Remus smiled back nervously back at him, as the boy waved.

He then heard foot steps on the stairs and they were getting louder. He stepped back again and then saw Hunter come into the room and stand next to the boy..
His spirit fed of the life force they were giving off and the atmosphere, becoming more clear.. "Hunter?.."

Hunters gaze slightly narrowed in surprise as it becoame more clear.."Um..Liden, go wait with yout sister..please.."
"But- But.." he protested
"no buts Liden, please?" Hunter asked again then the boy nodded and sighed then slouched off down the stairs muttering inaudiable words, Hunter then blew out a long exagerated breath
"Remus?" he questioned slightly catious, was this a trick perhaps Voldemorts followers? he didn't know but he remained calm "Arn't you..well..dead.." he said slightly bewhildered

[Pandora Gryffindor]

Pandora was running late. To much work to do at Hogwarts, getting it ready for the new term and all. She paused as she came to the door. She hadn't enetered this door...since. Since she lost all her beloved friends. She wiped a tear and slowly opened the front door. It squeaked as she closed it behind her.

"Hunter, Linden, Isabella", she called out. "Anyone here", she asked with a shudder. To many memories were here.

Remus watched him go, hearing the names, he remember they were the names of his and Pandora's children..

".. they have grown a lot.. I have missed so much.." he said to himself out loud. He looked back to Hunter and gave a nod ".. I am.. I have been in limbo for all these years, unable to pass on with the unfinished business, regret.."

He then was cut off as he heard someone else come into the old out, Pandora. Remus's image became more clear as his excitement grew. He looked back to Hunter ".. I see you have grown up too..."

Linden had just came down the stiars Isabella was in the kitchen "in here!" she yelled and Liden beamed to his mother
"dad's upstairs talking to a ghost" he grinned then wondered pass casually into the kitchen

upstairs Hunter nodded and gave a small laugh "older in year, looks still roughly the same" he smiled slightly, it's good to see you Remus, it has been..to long" he sighed and heard Pandora the twins would tell her no doubt, "yes they have grown..alot..i'm sorry for Isabella..she's not..- as open minded and Linden," he crossed his arms over himself, "I wish i could help you Remus..it's not fair for you to be stuck, drifting as you do.."

Remus looked down not able to look at Hunter ".. I am just pleased to see you are doing well and so if your family.. have you seen Dora? is she in Limbo?" he asked hoping she wasn't, hoping she was passed and happy.

He wondered if Pandora was going to come up. He didn't want to leave the room, scared he would go back, seeing the living as ghosts to him. ".. is she going to come up.. I rather not leave this room encase.. I go."

[Pandora Gryffindor]

Pandora looked around to see her beautiful daughter. "Whats wrong hunnie, she asked hugging her. "You look like you've seen a ghost, she laughed. Then Isabella filled her in. She turned and bolted up the stairs.

When she reached the top, she saw Hunter talking to someone. As she got closer she saw who the ghost was. Her legs buckled underneath her as a cry came out her mouth. She caught herself on the wall. "Re..Remus is it you", she cried, tears flowing like a river down her checks?

Isabella just pointed upthestairs Linden was wistling likt nothing happend as he made himself a drink of squash and talk to his sister

Hunter looked to Remus.." no i haven't i'm afriad..Teddy is doing fine he's with Tonk's mother, and visit's the Potters often" he said then turned as he saw Pandora he reached for her putting his arms around her and helping her up slightly and alittle closer, now he was silent.

"..I haven't seen Teddy since he was a baby..." he said still looking down at his feet, before slowly looking over to Pandora "... yes it is me..a ghost of course, in limbo...finally gained enough strength to show myself.. and see you all .. I have missed you so much, more so than you have me.. I am positive about that.."

He looked towards the window, as if looking out for his son. He turned and walked to it and put a hand on the wall, he looked upset and frustrated.. a ghostly tear ran down his smooth white cheek... the room getting colder..

Through her uncontrolable cries, she tried to speak. Shock and pain all wrapped up in one. "I have missed you too, like hell. There has not been one day to pass in 15 years, that I do not think of you and Albus", she said wipping her face with her dress sleeve.

"Whats wrong Remus...what is your unfinished business? We will help you fulfill it, so you may rest in peace with Tonks", her face twisted thinking of Tonks.

"But first I want to bring Teddy here for you to see. He would be..well like me. Overwhelmed and greatful to see you", she said sniffing.

Remus shook his head ".. I don;t think I can see him.. he wouldn't know anything about me.. and I him,, it's best if he stay in the mind he is now.. I don't want to upset and confuse him.. better like this.. and my unfinished business was that I believed my life was wasted I never made the most out of it.. I just people away and was too scared to live life.. take risks.. only until my last years... there is nothing I can do to change that.." he said looking over his shoulder to them.

Finally getting over the shock and the reminder of how much pain it caused her when he died, she was able to think and seak properly.

"Well he doesn't have to see you Remus, but wouldn't you like a peak of how much your son has grown?" It would make your heart feel good to see what a fine young man he has became."

"I just had a thought...can you leave this house at all, she asked Remus?"

"I can only go to some places.. and see others, figures around me... you wouldn't understand, but it might make me worse... seeing him, knowing how much I have missed.. and being like this, I won't be able to change a thing.. or do anything.. I rather not.. I love him, but its for the best I don't.."

He walked away from the window and walked over to a armchair and sat himself down. "..I should have never left Dora she could have lived.. things could have been different and Teddy wouldn't be orphaned.."

Hunter then spoke his arms still around Pandora he looked to Remus "your death wasn't in vain, Remus, Harry is greatful, he was extreamly greatful, and we won, all of us, and there must be some way to bring you back or send you onward, i couldn't bring my family back because they had moved on" he thought for a moment and sighed falling silent once again

Pandora started thinking...the way she always did...trying to solve a problem. "What did you say Hunter? Bring him...Hmmm...I just might be able to work some old ancient ...yet dark magic. But I would have to consult..with the elders...the ones who practise old magic", she said almost trans like from her thoughts.

"What about it Remus...would you like for me to try", she asked hopeful?

"I don't know Pandora, there isn;t much use of me, no need for me really anymore seeing as Teddy is a young man now...but.. I rather be with others, than just walking through limbo..."


Remus didnt know what he wanted. He had lost Tonks and missed out on being the father he had wanted to be, but wanted to be with Pandora and Hunter, but anything was better than what he was now.. "... alright Pandora.."

[Pandora Gryffindor]

"Good she said holding back tears of joy. Could she really bring Remus back she thought. All she knew was she would try harder than she ever had before.

"Can I touch you", she asked reaching out a hand towrd Remus? She wanted to give him a hug...but wasn't sure it would be possible.

"Hunter you know some about the ancient magic...maybe together we can bring remus back."

"Touch me? I am not sure Pandora.. only can come semi solid with enough energy from the living" . He didn't think this was going to work. He couldn't imagin being alive again, not after all these years, he was excited yet scared knowing he will have to catch up and he will have very little..unlike before he was murdered..

"I don't know anything about old magic, just heard there was something secret in the ministry sometime ago, but that might have been a hopeful rumor during the second war.. to give people hope.."

Hunter watched them and took Pandora hand away "i'm sorry you won't be able to touch him, he's a ghost, like Nearly headless Nickt, you can't touch him, only a poltigeist can pick things up there fore you can touch them, and hurt them, I'm sorry love.." he said then glanced to Remus then back to Pandora at her question briefly "well.." he said lookign at them both "there is a stone in the ministry, department of mysteriers..a stone..stone of life i think.." he sighed "it will be hard to get it, after Harry getting in once, and Voldemort the security has been updated.." he thought for a moment "it's possible there is still Remus's life enrgy..but..Pandora..it's extreamly risky..the side effect that could happen.." he trailed of looking between them

"Well as I said Hunter, anything is better than this, it is worse than hell.. seeing snippets of friends and families lives.. watching them get older.. and not being able to do anything, but just go unseen.. as if I don't exist.. I rather be whole.. than the walking dead. It will be worth the risk, what ever they are.. but I will need to stay somewhere, as I don't think I can live alone without Dora... will have to sort something out.. if we even get this charms.."

"thats the problem, if it is succsessful..you may not be brought back whole, there memory loss, and Personality diffrences, possibly, it is possible not only that..but your curse with loss of Memory or personality change, can be leathal..are you truely willing to go ahead?" he asked carefully "i may be able to get the stone..as head auror i have access but it's just getting out of there and if i'm caught..in the wrong hands can you see what a danger this stone is?"
